During the celebration of Kwanzaa, families and friends are encouraged to spend quality time together each day acknowledging diverse skills and talents. Thus, gifts are made for one another reflecting creativity and ties to our ancestors. An important lesson is that gifts do not have to be expensive in order to have value.
